It doesn't really matter because you should get a laptop that's used just for DJing. If you're serious and you're out playing a gig, you don't want your laptop crashing in the middle of a set. Most likely, this will end up being a Windows machine.

If the software that you use to dj works on both PC and Mac, then it is down to user preference on which Operating System to use.
