DJmag Review – Pioneer SVM-1000 AV Mixer
My, how the world of DJing has changed. We’ve got our hands on the new four-channel audiovisual club mixer from Pioneer. It’s not cheap at £3699, but it’s worth every penny. Enjoy.

Gotcha. I agree with you that people are getting far too lazy and putting stuff together like lego. The point of new technology is to offer new possibilities, not just go all “auto-mode” and do everything for you.

well in that case you could just put a cd on then the sound quality aint gonna get much better then that but yes i would say your more of a dj if you can mix records and cds together rather then just press a couple of buttons and let it mix its self thats not djing for god sake thats just made easy for people to say there a dj but dont get me wrong its a bloody good bit of kit i would like one but myself all im saying is things are getting to digital nowdays
