Jonnyscratch from the West Midlands, UK, sent in this 10-minute mix of him mashing up the breaks, beats and fierce electro house with some EFX… check it out… He is a resident DJ at Twisted/Under The Influence and a big fan of The Prodigy, and yes, he says he really is the nephew of metal head Ozzy Osbourne. ‘Not that the claim to fame is getting me any more bookings,’ says Jonathan.

MIDI controllers are ten a penny these days and all offer much the same features but with differing quality levels and prices to match. But the one thing that they share is bog standard MIDI and the associated faffing around that goes with it. The Vestax VCI-300 does come in at the top of the controller food chain, but does away with all the config twaddle thanks to Serato’s ITCH.

What began in 1993 as a new venture for sports TV channel ESPN has become the must-see action sports event in the world. Every year thousands of people come from around the globe to see the best of the best compete in the X-Games: which features cutting-edge sporting events with fearless competitors. This year the X-games had a new visitor, Numark’s NS7 controller and the crowds ate it up.
We brought NS7 to the 2009 X-Games with our friends from NAMM. Here are some images directly from the games.
