Ibiza veteran and BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong talks to DJsounds from his booming club night, Wonderland, at Eden. Subjects on the radar include a typical Friday night in his hectic life, the Radio 1 Ibiza Weekend, DJmag’s Top 100 DJs Poll, and the ‘Guetta-wave’… Pete also touches on his first trip to Ibiza, which was with Nicky Holloway in the 1980s, his relationship with (and changes on) the White Island, and the evolution of his own Wonderland event. Party footage shows our team following Pete around various Wonderland pre-parties, held at the pre-club bars Savannah, BN3 and Bar M, all before the main show kicks off at Eden with residents Groove Armada.

REVIEW: Pioneer MEP-7000

Having scared the living crap out of Pioneer when they unwittingly let me loose on their new flagship CDJs, we also found time to squeeze another one of their highly desirable pro level top end products through the reviews assault course too. New blood and Pioneer owner Andrew Unsworth stopped by the Pioneer mothership and happily relieved them of an MEP-7000 for a while. I’m very glad that he did.
