get a traktor control s4, it has 4 channels, sample banks and is soon to add traktor 2 free upgrade. also you can plug in your cdj or technics and use as a mixer. in april you will have full dvs controll over your cdj or technics all through the s4. now thats something special. all for less than pioneers.

pioneer is very bad with how they price things

i still use vinyl as well i have over 2000 records and im not just going to let it collect dust
but with that said i don’t let new technology go to waste..i still use my vinyl to fuck around with but i also use everything else i can afford i might i like.
I love djs who stil spin vinyl like cut chemist dj shadow etcetc
but even they use everything they like as well

Yes it nice but every one wants something different customize withe different colors why only black that too simply where are the leds light on the mixer it too plain you guys are pioneer be pioneers it look like you guys just rush thing out hoping consumers will by it that why sales has drop be different also where is the sampling mode where is the option to record where are cue points to store dont get me wrong it ok but it’s not pioneer pioneer is above and beyond

I’ll agree a booth out would be nice but its hardly a reason the allen & heath is much better
the new xone 4d is over 2500$ personally i’d rather spend the extra 1500 left from my s4 i just picked
up on some new music/speakers/software

I think you’re confusing value with quality

It’s a great controller as far as I can read the specs
but the price is insane!!!
The VMS4 and the Tracktor Kontrol S4 are pretty much the same thing
and they are cheaper.

@DjStashE Unfortunately, if you want value you have to shell out money. What you should all be admitting is that due to some personal inadequacy (job sucks, too young, too irresponsible to save up) hardcore gear like this will forever be out of reach. I barely make $20k a year and I just ordered a pair of CDJ 900s. its all about priorities people. don’t believe me? that’s cool. stay tuned to my channel for some tenminmixes.

@ellaskins. its cool and all but for the money, check out the new numark ns6 that just got announced. similar, but its 4 channel instead of 2. each channel can be either internal in itch or switch to an external source like cdj’s or turntables. Also has booth out and dual mic inputs. For less money than the new pioneer. in itch, it has every single last feature the pio unit has too. again, for less money. great time to be a digital dj for sure though. love your vids.
