I Love it But the only thing that is missing it’s the booth monitor out put. So important for a live performance.

When will this be out? Can you play a CD if needed through one of the 2 players? Do you need the serato box to hook it up? Does the mixer sound as good as the pioneer cdj 800 mixer?

Is this a better piece than the numark ns 7? Which one has a bigger platter? When does this come out? How much is it?

needle search isn’t an exclusive feature, nor is the 6″ platter the largest of controllers. See the Numark NS7.

different strokes for different folkes…if ur not for technology then wto turntabels and a mixer with boxex of records thats your thing.but it has nothing with meing a good di because a good dj or a real dj is one who can rock the crowd where ever when ever by using what he got! use what works for you i would say…if it gets the job done right then go for it.

QUIT bugging. Progression is the way to go. You could use this to do the same we have been doing for the past 30 years AND MORE. But u stubborn dj are stuck in ur ways to realize it. This this is a tool to do things that CAN NOT BE DONE.
Most of U dont know how to use the equipment to it greatest potential so much more can be done if you took the time out to understand it more than u currently do.

@DjDarkster ! completely agree!!!!!!! one exception sync buttons do breed worse djs there is no way around that. if you can just go up and get a button to do all the work for you it takes all the fun and skill out of djing!

@jazzygazzy13 That’s Pioneer for ya. I’d rock the NS7 over this any day. Just looking at it I can tell I don’t like it.

Man, Pioneer seriously needs to re-evaluate their reps. Each rep has stated that the “needle search” is exclusive to Pioneer products… man, that is soooo wrong. Numark has the “Strip Search” which was the ORIGINAL source for this technology on their NS7, which is a Serato ITCH controller, which has been around for 2 YEARS! Pioneer basically took the NS7, rebranded it as their own, and are selling it for MORE MONEY! Damn, that’s just wrong… Plastic casing?!? Come on… cheap…

i remember when being a Dj was a high stress job and took talent to pull off right…
not saying this is a bad product, its good for the everyday person who wants to be a club “dj”.
but if i ever see one at a Hip-Hop show i think i’ll slap the Dj personally. :)

this is gonna retail for $1599!? FUCK THAT! I’ll be getting the Numark NS6 which is $999 and has 4 channels on the mixer vs. the 2 on this.

@2lus – It is a midi controller after all? I’m sure some bright spark will do a Traktor Mapping for it in the not too distant future. Maybe even pioneer themselves… Who knows
