Would it fit a 17 inch macbook pro underneath? Or what are the maximum dimensions?

pioneer aren’t a dj growing company, they just wish to sell. seriously, sooner or later , they’ll get overpass because dj’s are a big revolution theses day. Hail to the new djing

Most positive feature: Space for laptop Integration.
Two Negative features: Too wide for a lot of Dj booth’s that have things arranged in a certain way.
Despite having 4 channels, the two extra channels should be able to switch to use the channel’s for 2 cdj’s for normal play, specially if traktor decides to crash, which happens sometimes.
I just bought a Xone 4D mainly because of these two reasons, but I hope you upgrade it’s design in the future, you’re almost there :)

@andyfoz your very true, i have had various amounts of dj gear from vinyl turntables that were so shockingly bad, right through to some great pioneer cdj’s, dont get me wrong i love pioneers products, i mean thats why the cdj’s have been the industry standard all these years, but the new equipment in djing is crazy stuff, im thinkin of selling the cdj’s and have been looking at controllers, and the s4 just seems the perfect product!!

@MavisYokomoto the unit does not feature hardware buttons to initiate the sample banks or lauch the clips, and thats if pioneer traktor even gets the sample banks which im fairly sure it wont. buy an s4

@andyfoz

traktor is releasing traktor pro 2 or t2 which is pretty much the s4 software but much better.

by far the pioneer controller is the best on the market matching the vestax.

Djing for so many years, it was only natural for me to play around with this. money wise its worth it but at the same time it was VERY plastic’y in the use. however, i use the Allen & Heath 4D sooo ya.. you can see why :P

lol “the DDJ-T1 Matches The Traktor Interface Like No Other Controller.” Umm…No. The Kontrol S4 was made BY THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE SOFTWARE. *facepalm*

i really like this product, however 1000$ is too much. AND WHEN YOU MAKE A 1000$ PRODUCT FIND A GOOD DJ TO PRESENT IT FFS
