Toy Selectah from Mexico
We meet Toy Selectah (aka Toy Hernandez), DJ/Producer from Monterrey, Mexico, at Party at WODA, one of the biggest clubs in Latin America, when he was sharing the bill with 2manydjs and Buraka Som Sistema. Toy has produced and remixed with a huge array of musical legends, including Morrissey, Cypress Hill and, more recently, Vampire Weekend. He shares a label with three other guys called Sones del Mexside, and he’s part of a band called Sonidero Nacional, whose sound is taken from hip hop, breakbeats and reggae
